The Throwbot 2 robotic platform is a throwable microrobot system engineered for rapid deployment into confined or hazardous spaces. It broadcasts low‑latency color video and audio—operational up to 150 ft through walls or 450 ft line-of-sight—and withstands repeated 30‑ft drops onto concrete.

Equipped with an automatic infrared illumination system for night vision, non-slip wheels for handling obstacles up to 2 in high, and near‑silent operation under 59 dBA in Carry‑and‑Tow mode, Throwbot 2 offers unmatched stealth and durability. Compatible with SearchStick pole for overhead inspections, and modular conversion kits that increase terrain capability or payload capacity.

A single lithium‑polymer battery provides up to 110 minutes of runtime (160 min observation only), charging in approximately two hours. The system includes the robot, Operator Control Unit II (OCU II), charger, activation plate, tether kit, hard case, and optional accessories.
