Overview:

Assembled in Florida by FLYMOTION’s in-house integration team, the Tactical Deployment Kit (TDK) for Spot expands the operational capabilities of the Ridgeback 2 and Spot platforms by introducing a versatile, modular payload solution. Designed around a four-chamber system, the TDK supports specialized cartridges for non-lethal effects, such as noise-flash distraction devices (NFDDs or flashbangs), and aerosolized mist agents (chemical gas and smoke).

Each chamber operates independently and can be loaded with a specific mission-configured cartridge. Operators maintain full control of deployment via the native Spot user interface, enhancing both safety and situational effectiveness during high-risk or confined-space operations.

The system is safeguarded by a robust Arm/Fire fuse design, featuring multiple hardware- and software-level redundancies. Combined with an integrated Safe and Arm System, the TDK ensures payloads are activated only under deliberate, authorized conditions, giving teams confidence during dynamic operations.
